Know what items are allowed in carry-on luggage

• Firearms and/or ammunition which must be declared to the airline during the luggage check-in process. If these items are found during the inspection process, the Peruvian National Police will be notified.
• Sporting goods that must travel packed in a bag or box designed to carry them.
• Musical instruments that must be transported in their cases. In some cases, depending on their size, the airline may allow you to take them in the cabin, replacing your carry-on luggage.
• Pets, emotional support and service animals that must have the necessary permits for the trip. Check directly with the airline if they can be transported in the cabin or hold of the aircraft.
• Wheelchairs, crutches or other orthopedic device for passengers with special needs. Check directly with the airline if they can be transported in the cabin or hold of the aircraft.
• Stroller or carrier for children under 2 years of age that can be transported to the boarding lounge and then checked by airline personnel to be transported in the hold of the aircraft.
