AAP obtained its First Star in the "Carbon Footprint Peru" Program of the Ministry of Environment for having implemented the first level of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) management "Measurement".
Andean Airports of Peru (AAP) received its First Star in the "Carbon Footprint Peru" Program that certifies compliance with the measurement of greenhouse gases at the airports of Arequipa, Ayacucho, Juliaca, Puerto Maldonado and Tacna, as part of AAP's commitment to provide a sustainable, safe and quality airport service.
"We not only carry out projects that impact the airport service we offer in the regions, we are also focused on caring for the environment and contributing to improving the quality of life of citizens," said Raúl Diaz, General Manager of AAP.
It should be noted that the Carbon Footprint Peru is an official tool of the Ministry of Environment that recognizes public and private organizations that have managed to manage their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the benefit of the environment.
