AAP welcomed passengers with dances and surprises at its airports in Arequipa, Ayacucho, Juliaca, Puerto Maldonado, and Tacna for World Tourism Day.

Andean Airports of Peru (AAP), along with its strategic allies, greeted passengers with traditional dances at its air terminals and handed out fortune cookies with phrases encouraging tourism in the southern regions where it operates, in celebration of World Tourism Day.

"Our purpose is to celebrate, recognize, and value the identity and culture of the regions where we operate. Therefore, on holidays, we welcome our passengers with surprises and traditional dances from our southern regions," said Giulliana Vera, Commercial Manager of AAP.

It is worth noting that AAP regularly organizes activities to enhance the passenger experience, taking advantage of festive and commemorative dates. This year, in Arequipa, the Municipality of Cerro Colorado presented the 'Marinera del sillar' dance and an 'Pago a la tierra' ceremony.
