AAP, in partnership with Asmype, the Pikimachay Board of Trustees and Marca Ayacucho, presented the UNKO Cultural Fair, "Ayacucho for the world", which will convene more than 50 regional artists from March 23rd to April 10th.

Aeropuertos Andinos del Perú (AAP) inaugurated the tenth edition of the Unko Fair at the Alfredo Mendívil Duarte Airport, which from March 23 to April 10 will showcase the best of the culture of over 50 artists and agro-industrial entrepreneurs. The fair will be located on the esplanade of the airport parking lot and will be open to the general public.

"Our goal in the regions in which we operate is to promote local culture and art as part of our mission as a company, for which we have made available the spaces at AAP airports as a platform for the exhibition of regional culture," said Raúl Díaz Díaz, General Manager of Aeropuertos Andinos del Perú.

"We have called this edition of UNKO "Ayacucho for the World" and it has been possible thanks to an alliance that we have developed with Asmype, the Pikimachay Board of Trustees and Marca Ayacucho. This is the first of other initiatives that we are working on with our strategic allies, as well as local authorities to promote tourism to local and foreign visitors," said Raúl Díaz.

The Ayacucho airport, during the first quarter of operation in 2023, recorded a 38% growth in passenger traffic and in the number of flights compared to the first quarter of 2022.

It should be noted that the Ayacucho airport has 6 daily flights to and from Lima and receives an average of 1,200 passengers per day. In addition, during 2022 it received a total of 317,356 passengers, while in 2021 it recorded 185,199 passengers.
